RRC welcomes new research ideas and novel projects in the field of Rheumatology and its related fields, from any Iranian or non Iranian researchers, universities, institutes, scientific centers, companies, organizations. The cooperation may take place in the following frameworks

  i.      Tehran University for Medical Science (TUMS) is the main sponsor

For this purpose, the research projects should be written in the "Proposal Blank Form" of TUMS and sent to the Research Committee of the RRC. Following its approval by the RRC Research Committee, it will be sent to the Research Deputy of TUMS to be considered by their referees and then the Research Committee of the University. Then the budget will be allocated by the university and the project begins. If the proposals are prepared by the non RRC members or other institutes, companies, etc, they necessarily need to introduce one of the RRC members as one of the main researchers of the proposal.

ii.      TUMS is not the main sponsor

In this condition, the proposal must be available in a standard format. Following its approval by the Research Committee of the RRC, a contract will be signed between the RRC and the sponsor. Since RRC is eagerly interested to have "Memorandum of Understanding" (MOU) with the Scientific Centers, it may be signed before the contract. Following the contract, the research project will start. Regardless of the contract and the sponsor's intentions, RRC keeps the right to protect the privacy of patients' information, and present or publish the exact and correct results of the research, even if negative.

In the case of presence of a sponsor, together with the TUMS/RRC financial support, the contract will be the guideline of the cooperation.

iii.      International

International joint research projects and scientific relations are highly encouraged. all international cooperation will be considered separately.
